KYVERAPPLIED INTELLIGENCE

AI that keeps patient data yours

How can a healthcare organization use AI without putting patient data at risk?

Start with administrative work and keep the data in your control. Kyver applies AI to documentation, scheduling, referrals, prior authorization and billing, connected to your EHR. Models run in an environment provisioned for your organization, each agent sees only the records it needs, every access is logged, and clinical decisions stay with clinicians.

Where AI saves time in healthcare

Most of the hours go to work that surrounds care rather than care itself. That is where we start, because it pays back and keeps clinical judgment with clinicians.

  • Visit documentation

Draft visit notes and summaries from the encounter for the clinician to review and sign, so charting doesn't follow them home.

  • Referral and fax intake

Read inbound referrals, faxes and outside records, match them to the right patient, and queue them for staff instead of sorting by hand.

  • Prior authorization

Assemble the clinical documentation each payer requires and draft the request. Staff review it and submit, and AI tracks the status.

  • Scheduling and follow-up

Fill cancellations from the waitlist, send reminders, and flag patients who missed a follow-up or a referral appointment.

  • Patient questions

Answer routine questions about hours, preparation and billing from your approved content. Anything clinical goes to a person.

  • Billing and coding review

Check charts against codes before claims go out, verify eligibility, and sort denials by cause so staff work the ones worth recovering.

The paperwork comes before the patient

Clinicians and front-office staff spend a large part of each day on documentation, phone calls, faxes and payer requirements. Much of that work follows rules and patterns AI handles well.

The obstacle is risk, not capability. Patient data falls under HIPAA, a wrong answer can reach a patient, and many consumer AI tools were never built for either. The way through is a system where protected health information stays in your environment, every access is recorded, and AI prepares the work while a person makes the decisions.

Built in from the first release

  • Security

Each agent gets the minimum access its task needs. A scheduling assistant can't open clinical notes, and requests outside its scope are refused and logged.

  • Governance

AI drafts the note, the prior authorization or the patient reply. A clinician or staff member approves it before it enters the record or leaves the building.

  • Cost

Models run on capacity provisioned for your organization, so protected health information isn't sent to a public API and the monthly cost is fixed.

  • Traceability

Every session records which records were read, what was produced and who approved it, with redaction and retention rules your compliance team sets.

  • Maintainability

Payer rules, code sets and EHR versions change every year. We keep the system current and documented so it doesn't depend on one analyst.

Questions about AI in healthcare

Is AI HIPAA compliant?

HIPAA applies to how a system handles protected health information, not to AI as such. We design for it: models run in an environment provisioned for your organization, access is limited to what each task needs, and every access is logged. Your compliance team reviews the setup, including any business associate agreements, before patient data is involved.

Can AI connect to our EHR?

In most cases, yes. Modern EHRs expose FHIR R4 interfaces, and most also support HL7 v2 feeds. The assessment confirms what your EHR offers and what each integration needs.

Does AI make clinical decisions?

Not in the systems we build. AI prepares documentation, summaries and administrative work. Clinical judgment, and anything that reaches the patient record, stays with a clinician who reviews and approves it.

Where does AI save the most time in a medical practice?

Usually in documentation, referral and fax intake, prior authorization and billing follow-up. The assessment measures the hours each takes in your organization and ranks them by return.
